A Merry Christmas

We had a wonderful Christmas this year in Louisville! Bennett enjoyed his first Christmas and Jack started to get it, at least he enjoyed opening endless gifts!!! This year we partook in all the Richardson traditions that I hold so dear and that was really special.

On Christmas Eve we went to the Christmas Eve service at my parents' church (which I've done since I was a little kid) and out to eat at O'Charleys.

Our tree after Santa's visit! Lots of fun toys for 2 very good little boys!

Christmas morning!!! Jack enjoyed opening all his gifts from Santa!

Santa brought Bennett a Bumbo chair! Is he not the cutest little thing sitting up all by himself?!

Jack loved all his toys! He got lots of new bath toys, play-doh and accessories, and a couple of fun games!

Playing with Ele-fun, which is super cute!

Bennett also got a new playmat gym since Jack's got chewed up by mice, yuck!

After we opened presents at our house and got ready Christmas morning, we headed over to Nana and Pop's house to open presents from and to them. Jack got a tricycle!!!

Dad surprised Mom with a trip to Aruba next month!!! Woo-hoo!!!

Bryan and Holly's first (married) Christmas together!

We were very very blessed by Nana and Pops, they showered us with gifts and we are so very humbled and grateful, THANK YOU GUYS!!!
After we opened presents, ALL of my mom's family comes over for a huge feast and together time every Christmas (or we go to another family members'). This year was no different and it was so awesome to spend time with my aunts, uncles and cousins that I love so much!

Jack LOVES his new tricycle!

Jack with his second cousins Natalie, Rachel, Davis, Blake and Spencer!

Sweet little Benett got some presents too!

My cousin got the boys each a new toy! So sweet!
Jack got lots of attention from all his cousins!!! I remember playing with these guys when they were babies so it's really hilarious to see them playing with my babies!

The whole gang (minus Holly and Bryan who had already left)! Wow, we've really multiplied over the last 20+ years! Merry Christmas!

Meme's Visit

Kevin's Mom Jackie came to stay with us again last weekend! It was great to have her, Jack especially loves his Meme! A lot of these pictures are from Jackie's camera since I didn't have one at the moment (see previous post) so thanks Meme!

Jack was VERY interested in what we were eating up there!

Yum! It's Gigi's cheeseball... thank you Gigi (but especially thank you for the DELICIOUS cheesecake!!!!!)

Jack chewing on his Elf on the Shelf, Zwingly.

Bennett has found his hand and loves to chew on it when his paci isn't around.

On our way out on a shopping adventure!

At church

Jack got to open many gifts from Meme!

Thank you Jackie for making the trip all the way out here... again! And for all the very generous gifts! We miss you and love you!

Camera

So... I lost my precious camera a few weeks ago and I have COMBED this house looking for it. I was sick about it, it was my awesome Christmas present last year from my Dad. I was especially upset with Christmas coming up. I absolutely love documenting my sweet children and how could I not have a camera capturing Bennett's first Christmas and Jack's second? When I say I've combed the house, I mean I have looked absolutely EVERYWHERE it could possibly be... I think. I am up against a a very creative and mischievous toddler, so it could still turn up.

Exibit A for creative and mischievous toddler. He discovered that his baby spoon fit perfectly in the handle of the dryer! Many things have gone missing in our house and we always find them (except the camera) in very interesting places!

I picked out a new camera I really wanted online and asked Kevin if we could get it. At first he said we could and then decided that we really shouldn't right now with Christmas expenses, etc. I was totally bummed but understood. Then the next day, he said Jack had a gift to open early and it was...

The camera I had picked out!!! Thanks Babe, I LOVE LOVE LOVE it!!!

It is so awesome, and dare I say, even better than the one we've lost... and just in time for Christmas!

The first picture taken with the new camera!!! (We hadn't figured out all the settings just yet so it's a little dark.) Thank you honey for my early Christmas gift, I am one lucky girl!

December Happenings

Merry Christmas from the Moore family! We have been busy, busy this month! Here are a few things we've been up to. I couldn't take pictures of everything because I lost my camera a few weeks ago (more on that in an upcoming post), so I don't have pictures from a couple of Christmas parties, namely our Small Group Christmas party and our Church Christmas Party. But here is what I do have!

Hiding Zwingly, our Elf on the Shelf! Jack LOVES finding him each morning!

In case you're wondering, yes, we do still have a dog! We love Mia although we don't give her much love on the blog now-days, but she is as precious as ever.

Our beautiful tree... do you see Zwingly?!!

My whole fam came over to take a Christmas picture for my parents' Christmas card and they were troopers while we tried to get a shot for our card as well.

It was not easy to get a shot with both boys looking pleasant!

But we finally got one!

Jack giving precious kisses to his little brother!

I just love their matching outfits!

My sweet sister!

Look at that adorable pooch (on Holly, not me, mine's not so adorable!) Baby Hadley is growing!!!

We caught some hilarious "out-takes" with Mom and Dad's photo shoot with the boys!

We were basically having meltdowns by then! And we still had a 30 minute wait at Outback to work through!!! It was a fun night though.

Daddy took Jack exploring in the back yard

My high school girlfriends had a Christmas Brunch (it's a tradition)!

My sweet friend Kolby had her precious daughter, Kinley Ruth Nordine, on December 11th: Ross, me, Kolby and Kolby's mom, Mrs. Conway, holding her granddaughter!

Jack was "a part of" the Christmas Program at church last Sunday morning. It was mostly older kids and he was pretty uninvolved, but he was still adorable and we were the dorky parents on the front row snapping pictures!

Yeah, not too concerned with what was going on on stage!

This what he was supposed to be doing!

Our house after one of the many snows we've had. It just now mostly melted yesterday (after about 2 weeks) and we're supposed to get another storm tomorrow, Christmas Eve.

Our back yard covered in a light snow.

Our church's Women's Christmas Brunch. I hosted a table this year and we were making a gingerbread house. It was a competition which we lost miserably!!!

Some of my favorite church girlfriends! Kolby (before she had the baby!), me, Leigh, Cheryl, Caitlin, Jenna (Cheryl's sister-in-law, who doesn't go to our church), and Ashley sitting down. You can see how bad our gingerbread house was if you look closely!!!

I was trying to get a cute picture of my little bug in front of the tree, but it didn't go so well. Merry Christmas everyone!!!
